Our daughter Billie became one of those six babies.

A few months later, we discovered we were also the one in five who will never know why she died. By all accounts she was a perfectly healthy baby.

Room Eleven was the room Billie was born in.

Room Eleven was where we met her, and was the room we said goodbye to her. To us, Room Eleven is the nexus of the universe.
