Grief Education Backed by Lived Experience and Real-World Resilience
Room Eleven is a grief and resilience education company.
We’re not psychologists or therapists — we teach what we’ve lived.
Our talks and workshops are designed and delivered by Rob Saunders, founder of Room Eleven. For over a decade, Rob has been exploring the link between endurance, personal growth, and mental resilience — long before he understood how deeply it would matter.
After the loss of his daughter Billie in 2019, that exploration became a purpose.
Rob’s work — from long-distance solo treks across Japan to daily running challenges and world record attempts — became a way to understand grief, and how we grow around it.
We don’t teach people to “get over” grief.
We teach people how to live with it — and grow stronger through it.
Whether you’ve experienced loss yourself or support others through it, Rob’s talks & workshops combine raw storytelling, practical insights, and hard-earned tools that help people face pain, build inner strength, and carry both joy and sorrow in the same hand.
What We Offer
Grief, Growth & Resilience workshops for workplaces, sporting clubs, healthcare and community groups
Speaking engagements delivered by Rob Saunders, based on lived experience
Tools to build emotional literacy, reduce stigma, and strengthen mental health
Room Eleven exists to help people survive what they thought would break them.
Because resilience isn’t built in the easy chapters. It’s built in the ones we never saw coming.
How We Work (Cost)
We keep our pricing simple and transparent — because this work matters, and we want it to be accessible.
Talks & Workshops start at $1,000 and are tailored to your audience, time frame, and goals.
Why It Matters
Room Eleven is a social enterprise. Our purpose is to support bereaved families after the loss of a baby. All profits go toward creating our Still Billie Boxes — care and resource packages distributed through the Royal Women’s Hospital bereavement team.
We also fund our Scooting for Hope Campaign, where Rob is currently training to break a Guinness World Record by riding over 270 km on a kick scooter in 24 hours. The campaign is evolving into a 2-day, family-friendly event — with all fundraising efforts dedicated to helping establish The Dandelion Clinic, a dedicated pregnancy-after-loss service at the Royal Women’s Hospital.
When you work with us, you're not just booking a talk or workshop — you're helping families feel less alone in their darkest hours.
Let’s bring this conversation into your community.
